From the General to the Specific
My name is Gayle Teskey, and I'm president of
MCA. I was there when MCA was founded in 1993 to help membership
organizations acquire, retain and engage their members.
Discovering Response Motivators
We still do that today, but we learned that what we know about members – why
they affiliate with an organization, what makes them stay, and how
to stimulate them to participate along the way – applies to
lots of other consumer and business-to-business marketing opportunities.
For example:
- We’ve helped our clients identify and launch dues-paid
membership organizations where none existed before, and we’ve
guided long-standing organizations to new growth and profitability.
- We’ve
developed breakthrough creative approaches and packages.
- We’ve
helped our clients pick their way through the shoals of treacherous
economies as well as bullish ones, managing
risk and maintaining marketing stamina along the way.
- We’ve
been project managers and campaign analysts and complete out-source
solutions.
Regardless of what we’re working on, we always use classic direct response marketing principles. That way, financially sound marketing programs can be built upon a foundation of replicable results.
